AOL India has decided to sell its call centre operations in Bangalore to Aegis BPO Services, an Essar Group company. Under the deal, Aegis will take over employees of AOL's call centre operations in Bangalore on its rolls and provide customer service and technical support to AOL customers.

Travel portal MakeMyTrip.com has decided to outsource its contact centre operations related with post sales queries and flight ticket booking requests to IBM Daksh. US-based interactive marketing company Zeta Interactive has named Anil Unnikrishnan as president of its India operations. Unnikrishnan replaces Pradeep Vegunta who recently announced his retirement from the company.

NaiDunia (Webdunia) appoints Arpan Chatterjee as chief marketing officer

NaiDunia Group, which owns NaiDunia newspaper and multi-lingual portal Webdunia.com, has appointed Arpan Chatterjee as chief sales and marketing officer of the company. Prior to joining NaiDunia, Chatterjee was associate vice president, marketing, sales and customer support at CyberMedia's online tech job portal.

Google to deliver ads on Yahoo search pages

Yahoo has partnered with Google for a limited test of Google AdSense for Search service. Under the deal, Google will deliver relevant ads from its Google AdSense network alongside Yahoo's own search results.
